In the adrenaline rush of tax-inspired terror, I forgot the other game we’d played at the MOP. I knew it was something.
Someone had gotten their hands on the (who knows how) Soldier of Fortune 2 multiplayer test, which (from the features it has) appears to be the one they’re about to put out this Thursday. There might be something else in the one that comes out this week, but I wouldn’t know what it is. We just played the DM mode, it didn’t really catch on enough to play the Infiltration (“Capture the briefcase”), Elimination (“Counter-Strike”), or Team Deathmatch modes, which is too bad. The weapons feel massive, I don’t mean they’re too big on the screen or something, I mean they actually feel heavy, with the sort of meaty sound that one assumes might accompany an act of God.
