I love Mr. Period so Goddamn much, and now, you get a chance to see all his rowdy friends.  While I mess around with Gabe about commas or what have you, my own mechanical understanding of written language is pretty terrible.  I do things with hyphens that make professors faint straight away, and then I turn around and use the embodiment of punctuation in the strip.  There are plenty of other errors in Gabe’s letter that are left undiscussed, you may think of them as extra credit.

The list of things that make me a terrible business person are available either as a three volume set or a DVD-ROM.  There is also a collector’s edition that comes with my whimsical commentary and a game called “Bankruptcy,” which is like Monopoly except with no money.  I do things because I think that they will be fantastic, and then at the end I am left with boxes of shirts that no-one wants.  When I see them all lined up at the bottom of the strip there, the only thought I can form is “I must have this on a shirt!”  I want to have a shirt emblazoned with jubilant punctuation.  My right and left brain are wrestling right now.

Most human beings agreed with my assertion that the Tron 2.0 Multiplayer Demo was undelicious.  There were, however, five people who made it clear that my coverage of the game - which amounted to my saying that it was this or that synonym for shit - was “shallow,” or a “copout.”  I would warn you not to expect too much from me.

When it comes to free demos, unless something really excites me I’m quite happy just saying yea or nay in some general way, linking you to the software and leaving you to come up with your own thoughts on it.  In a case where you aren’t out any money to try something, I don’t know how much you need some exhaustive dissertation from me.  But they seemed to take it as such an affront, when really I was just being sort of ridiculous.  It was the type of naked exaggeration I do all the time, except now I was saying something they didn’t agree with so that wasn’t okay.  I didn’t like Tron 2.0, you can like it or not like it.  And if you do like it, what do you need my input for?  Don’t you already know your opinion?  And besides, who cares what I think.  I told you, I liked Master of Orion 3.  Doesn’t that scare you away?  I liked that Hulk movie nobody else does.  If I say a game is good, you should probably avoid it like a stinging insect.

What’s this?  Oh, just a little article on CNN that says all gamers aren’t gun-toting psychos.

I just finished up the designs for a new Wang-Fu shirt as well as a Mr. Period shirt. Remember, your first chance to get your hands on these will be at the San Diego comic-con this month.

I hope you guys like the new designs.

I have to get to work cleaning out my apartment now. Kara and I are moving into a new place in an effort to escape the spider infested cave we currently reside in. We are going to throw a bunch of shit out today in order to make the move easier. This means opening up the closets and going into boxes that have not been opened for more than a year. I’m a little scared of what we might find.

Well it seems like the shirts are a hit judging by the mail I am getting. I will try and answer some of the questions I’ve been getting about the shirts and the con here.

1. You want a shirt but can’t get to San Diego. You have a couple options. There are usually PA fans who go to cons and are willing to purchase extra stuff. I would check out the forum and see if anyone is willing to do something like that this year. I know last year we had a few people buying posters for lots of fans who could not make it.

Your other option is to wait until we get back from San Diego and get our online store up and running again. It has been hobbling along for the past few weeks but we have taken it down now in order to upgrade the software. The plan is to have it back up and functioning properly after San Diego. At that point you will be able to purchase these new shirts along with the rest of our stuff.

2. You want to know if we will have enough to last all four days. I sure hope so. We are bringing hundreds of shirts. I’d imagine by the last day we may be sold out of some of the more popular sizes though. I’d recommend coming early if you can.

3. You want to know what we will have down there. Well we will have the new designs you see today along with Div, Fruit Fucker and Cardboard Tube Samurai shirts. We will also have CTS and group posters while they last.  Oh and some stickers.

I hope that answers some of your questions. Let me know if you have anymore.

If you want to get some PA stuff from the con but can’t make it to San Diego, this is the forum thread for you. I know there will be a couple people taking orders there in the next day or so. I will be posting prices for everything tomorrow probably to help facilitate this sort of thing.

Remember, anyone offering to take your money and buy you something at the con is not affiliated with PA. These are people doing this out of the goodness of their own hearts. If they take your money and move to Mexico that’s not my fault. With that said, we have had very good luck with this sort of thing at other cons.
