Robert is sort of the unofficial ambassador for the Northwest, and he’s always telling people where they should eat and what they should do. He cooked up a forum thread that includes a few things PAX attendees might check out while they are up. I can personally vouch for the Regent, where I have had more almond bubble tea with coconut jelly than I have any right to.
Also, some concert information: next year, we’re thinking about taking concerts completely off-site. The theater we have this year is five times the size of last year’s, but it probably wont be enough, so we had to come up with a way to distribute wristbands for it. Four hundred tickets go to the first four hundred people through the door, and then two hundred an hour will go out at the registration desk. I wish that I could create vast, persistent audio-visual spaces for everyone with the power of my mind, but until I have mastered this trick we have to do it the hokey way.
