Well they’ve finally done it. Apple has succeeded in cracking my resolve. I was able to resist the siren song of their beautiful cinema displays but these new laptops are just too much. I can’t fight it anymore, I want one of these damn things and I don’t care who knows it.
I couldn’t stop myself from going into their online store and configuring one of these laptops. Apple products have always been outside my price range. That used to be just one more reason to dislike them. Now I look at my shopping cart and cry because I know I can’t afford it.
Okay I realize the 30” cinema display might be a bit much but this is a fantasy. I’m thinking of applying for a job at the Apple store over in Bellevue just for the employee discount. Are you guys hiring someone for extremely part time? I can stop combing my hair if needed. I love hacky sack and my iPod has nothing but Dave Matthews on it. I’ll need M-F and weekends off though.
