I didn’t know about Movember, or the extent to which one could movemb.  I’d seen the power of human facial hair to create charity wealth through our local 826 chapter, but the practice has apparently become much more codified since then.  Movember is a “hairity” drive to focus awareness squarely on a man’s most harrowed, gruesome, and unspeakable realms.

I was surprised to hear Gabriel so fervent in his support of the project.  Generally speaking, he does not support initiatives which are not strictly cookie related.  He is becoming another person, bit by bit, each day.  He is thinking not simply about others, but what might be going on deep inside their bottoms.

Telltale Games, I want you to listen to me very closely.  No.  No, no, no.  Never no never, ever.  Maximum no.  Never, ever do this.  The Internet is too big, and too fast for you to get away with it.  I want you to understand that it is bullshit, and I know it’s bullshit, that you aren’t allowed to have a public opinion on your work.  I once received a four out of ten from Edge Magazine; I am no stranger to impotent rage.  I understand that this state of affairs abrogates your fundamental humanity and that it is deeply, incredibly unfair.  People like to think that little whirring modrons are making these things, and that having a perspective on your work’s reception is somehow gauche.  It doesn’t matter.  You can never, ever, ever give them the satisfaction.  The next time you want to post an “anonymous” message, I want you to picture a resolute Soviet submarine commander standing firm as the water rises to claim him.  Draw on his strength.

Today is Penny Arcade’s 13th birthday, which is incredibly strange.  Does that mean, then, that time has been passing while we’ve been making these things?  That’s a scary thought; we’ve made a lot of them.

At any rate, that’s 13 I guess - but there’s no time to mark it.  I need to get started on 14, now.  You are welcome to recognize the occasion however you feel is appropriate, perhaps by watching the premiere of Penny Arcade: The Series, Season 3.

This is how Kiko is celebrating.  I’ll be getting a Tycho one in a little bit, I’ll put it up when I do.
