So Kara and I are both hooked on the WOW. She plays as a Druid and she mines and blacksmiths. Anyone who plays with a miner can relate to the screen shots I'm about to show you. On a side note, Kara had no idea I was taking these pictures. I have a feeling I may be sleeping on the couch tonight.
Playing with a miner means that you'll spend a lot of time standing around watching out for monsters. So get used to scenes like this one. The thing about miners is that all they really pay attention to is their little mineral radar. They're watching for the next blip to appear which means they've stumbled across another rich vein of tin or maybe silver. As soon as they spot that dot they take off in a mad dash to hopefully beat any other miners who might be en route to the same mineral deposit. They don't pay any attention to the sea of monsters that might be standing in the way.
"Take your time with that copper vein sweetheart this writhing highborn and I are just dispelling myths about global warming by exposing flawed economic, scientific, and risk analysis."
"Don't worry about me hon. I'm playing tickle monster with this terrifying horned moonkin.
"I'm sorry that's not a very good copper vein. On the bright side, I'm being murdered."
Excuse me Mr. Stormscale, have you seen a tin hungry druid around here recently, she's about yay high and she might be a bear.
