Being a celebrity at Comic-Con: A story in pictures
Comic-Con is known for screaming fans, long lines, big announcements, and you might find a comic book somewhere. But you have to look pretty hard. It's a weird show these days, although its importance in pop culture and big budget films is hard to overstate. This is where the buzz is built.
Still, it's rare to see what the show is like from the point of view of someone who is a star in a big property. Keep in mind when looking at these pictures that Arrow may be a big show, but it's nothing compared to an Iron Man or Twilight panel. So the craziness you see here, on the relative continuum, can be considered light.
This is neat, and it's a point of view you don't often get to see in such detail. Fame and fortune are certainly held up as worthwhile things in our culture, but does any of this look fun to you? At what point would the smiling face begin to slip?
