Boring, cowardly, craven, heartless: Bioshock Infinite was the worst game of the year
This will be a tough article to stomach for a lot of people, but I'm really interested to see what the reaction will be like.
I don't agree with everything the author has to say. I think a few passages reach too far, but generally I think there are a lot of really smart thoughts here. Chief among them is the fact that there hasn't really been much mainstream criticism of Bioshock Infinite. A bit, but not nearly as much as it semes like there should be for such an important game.
In that sense, I think it's important to read this brutal takedown of many publications' surefire Game of the Year winner. Personally, I haven't had the time to play Bioshock Infinite yet, so I can't comment in-depth, but I'm curious what everyone else thinks now that we have some distance.
