Mike Mika programmed an old copy of Donkey Kong to swap the Mario/Jumpman and Pauline models so that his daughter could have a female avatar as the hero. Why? Because he's a good dad. No politics, no gender message to send, no special reason other than to make his child happy. YouTube commenters promptly wished she would die.
