How gaming was given a great feminist hero… 13 years ago

This is an extremely in-depth look at a game that many of us enjoyed back in 2000, and it's surprising how well it holds up today. No One Lives Forever has been a cult classic for a long time, but Kirk Hamilton's look at how the game is actually a stealth take down of sexist workplace politics is both spot on and fun to read.

I don't have much else to say here, you need to go read the story and then we'll talk. Hamilton brings up a lot of good points about the game's subtext that I definitely missed in my younger years, and he has me itching to go back and play it again.
