How to build a PC version of the Xbox One, for around the same cost
I don't think this guide will get you a PC that will match the sheer power and capabilites of the next-generation consoles; there is something to be said for the economy of scale and optimization that happens when manufacturing and pricing consoles. The good news is that building a good gaming PC is less expensive than many think, and you can do just as much, if not more, with a good gaming PC than you can with a next-generation console.
This E3 was filled with great new games, and many of them will be coming to the PC. Hell, even Titanfall isn't an Xbox One exclusive, it's just exclusive to Microsoft's console. It's coming to the PC. PC games are going to start looking much better now that developers may treat the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 as the base platform, so we're not going to be held back by the lack of power in consoles any more.
This is a good example of rising water lifting all ships. I just may upgrade my PC as well.
