You could basically buy the $90 QuakeCon pack from Steam and retire from gaming
QuakeCon has begun, and Bethesda has released a giant package of games for sale on Steam to celebrate the occasion. I don't like to do a ton of “deal” posts here at PAR, but when they're this good, or include this many games… well, it's not a terrible thing to spread the word.
Take a look at the $90 package, and check out everything you get. Dishonored and all the DLC, a ton of Doom, Heretic and Hexen, a ton of Quake, Rage, Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim, and a mess of other games. I understand that many of us will own a bunch of these games, and almost all Bethesda games are on some kind of sale if you want to pick and choose, but just think of the dollar per hour value that package represents.
Let's say you just wanted an epic amount of Skyrim? They have you covered. There are bundles for every major franchise under the Bethesda umbrella.
Can you imagine getting into some of these games for the first time right now, at these prices, when many of the issues have been patched and the DLC is basically thrown in for free? Buying new games is a fool's… game.
