One of the crazier things about marijuana prohibition is/was just how bad they have been at prohibiting marijuana. If I were walking through Seattle's University District, I think it would be difficult not to get some. This is the kind of trufact which can be ascertained just by going outside, by attending a concert, or (especially) by attending an outdoor concert. Gabriel used to complain about it at the Dave Matthews shows he'd end up at, and I was like, man. Listen.
Listen to the lyrics of the songs.
It doesn't require any sorcelations to get, is the long and short of it. People who go on to become President are not strangers to it. So the idea that it's some kind of toxic alien fungus is the sort of lie that requires tremendous effort to maintain. Arguably, they haven't succeeded.
The Indie Megabooth is a PAX fixture now, in a way I couldn't possibly have imagined when I first saw it at East.
At PAX Prime - a show some have scandalously called the "good and true PAX" - several of my favorite games of the entire floor were tucked back in that labyrinth of low-fi pipe and drape. The density is good for me, because holy shit is my time at these shows spoken for. It seemed like it was good for the developers back there, too - there's a lot about making anything that is lonely, for lack of a better word, and being physically near people with whom you share a set of very specific problems must be refreshing. I think it is entirely possible that this state of affairs might serve you well, also.
(CW)TB out.
