I heard that this or that device was going to be graced with a chamfered bezel, and I felt a knot in my chest unwind. No lesser bezel would do. And then I realized that I have no idea what either of those words mean. I don't know what the first one means, and I don't know what the second one means, so I have no idea how the first one would modify the second one. I talked about it with Gorabriel, and we agreed that even though we had no idea what either of these things were it was very important to have both. And, I was quite correct: r/bezels did indeed lose their shit.

Apparently chamfer and bevel are often used interchangeably, so it probably has more to do with the fact that they wanted to avoid saying that something had a bevelled bezel, which makes no sense. Because that is seriously fun to say.

Some stuff happened, and/or continues to happen! In one case, it won't be happening for much longer. Here is information:

- The newest Titanfall update came out, what is called Game Update Four, and among a few other things like new game types and Titan voice packs, you can now apply emblems to your Titan. I was quite pleased to be asked for contributions to the latter effort, especially since I knew Kiko and Levin would fucking murder this thing. Thanks, Respawn. Here are Kiko's, and Levin's, in that order:

Kiko knows that it is very, very important to have numbers on your mech. And Levin killed it with a design that's a pun so deep it takes on a third dimension. Except our hosts thought that maybe having the PacMan right on there would probably freak out the legal team. SO. Levin sent me another one:

And this one is great also. I have another version of it with more organic teeth, but the geometric "angle" gives it that strong heraldry vibe. Anyway, you can get these now - in fact, you might have already unlocked one or both. Check when you get home.

- Brian's borderline ridiculous T-Shirt Sale, where virtually every shirt we have (men's! women's!) goes for ten bucks, is wrapping at the end of this month. This means there are only a couple days left to secure these unconscionable deals. Lots of designs being retired also, many strange and chimerical offerings going to that place shirts inexorably must go. Sweet Bat Milk! Old Twisp & Catsby shirt, we hardly knew ye. Except we kinda did.
