Gabriel killed the art in this comic. Holy shit. I even called him to tell him so.
On a weekend.
I think it's entirely possible that a lot of people are done with Call of Duty. I have been buying them, but playing each successive one less, to the extent that I'll probably just play something else this holiday. Probably Destiny II, or whatever they're gonna call it. I mean, Activision doesn't care; they still get paid.
Having all the dislikes on your video doesn't necessarily mean people won't buy it. There is a very popular image in heavy circulation because of its ironic payload. But irony is not an argument; a fan purchasing a game in a moment of weakness is an index of human frailty. I was under the impression that everybody basically knew that people were full of shit. I certainly didn't need a class. I don't even need the JPEG. Something is lapping at the foundation of this brand because something must.
Of course, now it's just a pile-on; it's like a catalyzed reactor. It is condensing the ambient negativity into a kind of undulating purple ribbon coiling in the black heart of its coagulator. But great houses fall. And it's always a "surprise" when they do. When it starts, everyone likes to say its not happening, because they can't imagine it any other way.
(CW)TB out.
