I am like post crazy or something today. I apologize, it must be the cough medicine. Just a few quick things and then I will leave you alone for the rest of the day.
I have more con info for you. We will be attending Sakura-Con April 4th, 5th and 6th right here in Seattle. We will have our booth there of course with all the new shirts and posters and we will be sitting on a few panels I guess. From what I understand we will be on a webcomic panel with Piro which should be a lot of fun. There is talk of a Guilty Gear XX tourney on one of those days as well which I will most certainly participate in. Here is a blurb from their website:
"The 6th Annual Sakura-Con will be hosted at the Seattle Airport Hilton and Conference Center April 4th to April 6th, 2003. Sakura-Con is the premier Pacific Northwest Anime Convention devoted to east Asian Culture, with a particular focus on Japanese animation (anime), Japanese Comics (manga), and gaming. For a weekend every spring, we provide an opportunity for members to be immersed in films, panels, workshops, and other exciting activities along with fellow enthusiasts. Sakura-Con is the gathering place of thousands of fans who get together to have fun sharing their love for anime."
So right now our schedule looks like this:
March 29th and 30th - Kansas City Comicon - Kansas City, KS
April 4th, 5th, 6th - Sakura-Con - Seattle, Wa
May 14th-16th - E3 - Los Angeles, CA
July 17th-20th - San Diego Comicon - San Diego, Ca
I am still not real clear on the dates for this years Penny Arcade conventions in Canada and Texas but I will let you know about those soon.
This should give you and idea of your best shot at meeting up with us if that is something you are interested in. East coasters I apologize, it looks like we won't get any closer than Kansas this year.
Oh and I wanted to mention something about the X-Arcade sticks. I love mine but it's important to wear it in. The joystick is a bit stiff at first so just give it some time to loosen up. They really are great sticks. If you are interested in seeing one or testing it out I will be bringing mine to Sakura-Con for the Guitly Gear tourney. You are welcome to check it out there.
