A fan wrote in with this link to a LucasArts customer survey. Question 40 asks what time period you would like to see future Star Wars game take place in. One of the options is "after Return of the Jedi". The survey might be a good way for us expanded universe fans to let LucasArts know how we feel.
The Kansas City Comicon is this weekend and I am getting really fucking nervous. I dreamt last night that we sat at our table alone both days. I don't just mean that no one came to our booth, I mean no one came to the con...not even other exhibitors. I'm not kidding either, I woke up sweating and clutching my pillow. Thankfully the powerful and reassuring visage of Optimus Prime staring back at me from my pillow case served to ease my frayed nerves. Like the giant robotic father I never had he always knows just what to say. I always get this way before a con but this one is special, we've never been off the west coast before. Do people in the mid west read Penny Arcade? Will people from the south or east coast make the trip to Kansas? I have no clue. I do know that besides bringing our smiling faces and our shirts and posters I will bring along some original PA artwork. People interested in taking a look at the pen and ink drawings for the CTS mini series can do that. Or if you're just curious what the average comic looks like in pencil I'll have that stuff too. I hope you guys can make it out and say hi. I'm off to play some BF 1942 then it's another night of restless fitful sleep.
