We're staunch enthusiasts of Chair's Infinity Blade, by which I mean Infinity Blade. It's almost ridiculously suited "for mobile," equally friendly to the person who has a spare moment and the person who will see the God King slain at any cost. As I suggested previously, it even has a lithe narrative cinch that just flat out works.
Until you have five consecutive seconds think about it.
I keep thinking there is going to be a point at which Dance Central ceases to catalyze social events, stops serving in its role as The Party Starter, runs low on that bizarre mineral so crucial to its alchemie. This has not happened. Any game you have to move the couch for had better be pretty Goddamned incredible. I keep moving the couch.
We're all more or less inured to being able to move our hand around and select shit, and maybe we don't like "the hover" as a UI concept, but bitches outside the definable concentric rings of our pastime (ranging from more to less avid) don't know bout my user interface paradigm. Without resorting to exaggeration, it is still capable of fucking their shit.
I did choose to preemptively restock some of its power with the addition of Disturbia, which is one of my favorite songs. I think the video is pretty awful, but if you open that video in another tab you'll be able to listen to the song, which is an incredible convenience and frankly an index of our incredible progress as a species. Part of the reason I don't like the video is that it defines the song, which I already have a definition for, and see if you don't prefer my template: taken as the journal of a Lovecraftian protagonist, it's pretty hard to beat.
I neglected to mention it, which was neglectful. But! Because it was Friday, there was new Penny Arcade Television. A danger-fraught Fourth Panel that covers a number of (terrifying) topics is now available for your delectation.
(CW)TB out.
