Our friends - literal, IRL friends - from Dire Wolf Digital gave us a copy of Invincible: The Hero Building Game to try out, and by God, we're gonna do that on stream this afternoon. Keep this pre-order link handy, 'cause you're probably gonna need it.
Invicible was one of the books I actually kept up with, and it's been really fun to see it get the huge audience it deserves. There have been other Invicible board games, but this is Dire Wolf's take on it, which means cards and cubes. Light tableau and resource building caramel inside an episodic, cooperative chocolate drop that starts just after the Guardians of the Globe are, well, basically pulverized. I think I have a decent handle on it after watching a few community videos out there, so I'll do my best to goad Eric "EJB" Benson and Ryan "The PAXmaster" Hartman to victory.
