New strip. Just to head any questions off at the pass, yes, I am a weirdo.
I travel around the country about as often as a national monument might, and I don't feel as though I am operating at peak efficiency outside my proper context. It's like sitting down to someone else's PC. You sorta recognize where everything is, and you kinda recognize what everything does, but their bit-depth is atrocious and their resolution is an affront. They've got shit on their desktop scattered from hell to breakfast. In fact, that pretty much describes Los Angeles to a T. When I leave home, even the colors of things are incorrect. I have a suspicion that things are doing this on purpose.
We've driven for twenty-two long hours, and though I had misgivings about the adventure initially I grew quite fond of the process. You might have read that Gabe purchased a portable screen for the GameCube, they're not as expensive as I figured they'd be - but in practice, it wasn't really something we could use in the car. Each of us get pretty car-sick when we read on a trip, and the same principle applied here - I was only able to beat Gabe in three rounds of Super Smash Brothers before we decided that it was time to stop playing or throw up. There will be no such concern at the GameSkins booth however, as it is (to the best of my knowledge) perfectly stationary. You may be reasonably certain that at the first sign of a lull at our booth, the WaveBirds are coming off the lock.
We came down here to the Comic-Con primarily to meet human beings, but we also brought a bunch of these:
Gabe answered virtually any question you might have about our posters in a post a couple days ago, so if curiosity strikes about dimensions, pricing, or whatever else please click at your leisure. If you want us to sign it, or pin two corners to our shoulders and pretend it is a cape, that's fine - we're flexible. What's more, our durable posters are up to the task.
I need to go to sleep so badly, I'm so tired I feel as though I'm watching myself type all of this. I'll probably drop back in tonight with some supplemental meandering, I guess Wednesday sports some kind of con "preview" which I was wholly unaware of until about an hour ago. I'll see you if I see you.
(CW)TB out.
