There’s a really big article over on the Escapist this morning about Thornwatch. I sat down with Jonathan on Sunday after he got a chance to play the game and we talked for about an hour I think. The resulting article is a really good look at the current state of the game and some insights into the process of building it.

If you have questions or want to chat about the game you can always hit up our official Thornwatch twitter. That’s also a good one to follow if you want to stay up to date on playtesting plans and behind the scenes development stuff. Right now it’s got tons of great photos from PAX East.
(We had 9 game masters running the game for about 5 hours each night.)
The amount of amazing fanfic and fanart coming out of people who played the game at PAX is just mind blowing. It was absolutely incredible to see people show up at the playtest dressed as characters from the Eyrewood (including an entire Thornwatch crew) especially considering how little content there is right now.

Reading all the stories and looking at the art from people whose imagination has been grabbed by the concept is beyond inspiring. To see this sort of response when the game is still so early is just incredible and I can’t thank you all enough.
So head over to the Escapist and check out their preview. Then hit the Twitter account and look at all the amazing fan created work coming out or send us your questions about the game. PAX East was a huge goal for us and we hit it. We managed to bring a fully playable game to the show and demo it for a few hundred people. Now it’s time to tackle the next goal and I couldn’t be more ready.
