Tychpo Resolved!

By Tycho – December 2, 2011

He's working from home today, so I just went over to his computer and commenced with the textual healing. I wasn't made to debase myself! What an incredible change of pace.

The Conflux, Part Five

By Tycho – December 2, 2011

There is a Typo (which Gabriel calls a "Tychpo") in the strip, which Gabriel is refusing to fix because I must "learn." It is philosophically of a piece with grinding a pet's nose into the fibers of a fouled carpet. I will see what kind of genuflections are required to make the comic whole.

Pathfinder

By Gabe – November 30, 2011

I started playing table top RPG's with D&D 4e. My group was also almost entirely composed of players new to D&D. We learned with 4e and so I think it has a special place in our hearts. Our game ran for about three years and I chronicled a lot of it here on the site. As time went on and I got more comfortable with the rules I started doing some pretty crazy shit.

The Conflux, Part Four

By Tycho – November 30, 2011

The challenges of player power in Gabriel's campaign ("Pursuit Of Destiny," which I always liked as a name) are such that we're hauling in ideas from every attainable source - availing ourselves of every lash, every hot brand.

Buy a Print is back!

By Gabe – November 28, 2011

It has been a long time coming but our Buy a Print option is back on the site! These are large prints usually 11x17 and come from the original 600 DPI comic file. They look super crisp! The feature has been missing from the site for a while so you might want to take a trip back through the archive and see if there was anything you wanted. I made a little list of some recent strips that I think are especially print-worthy.

The Conflux, Part Three

By Tycho – November 28, 2011

We wrapped up an old Iron Kingdoms adventure after a lull of several months, and getting around a table only stoked a fire that was already threatening the roof. It is approaching obsession levels very quickly, surprising in its ferocity. Sleep is no refuge; some unconscious process is always at work, sharpening my knives.

We have a few special deals going on in our store that I wanted to share with you all.

The Conflux, Part Two

By Tycho – November 25, 2011

I like to roleplay, but the full graph this data resides in is three dimensional and denotes a wealth of additional data. For example, I like roleplaying more than I like being chased through the savannah by a leopard, but just barely. What I like is doing worldbuilding, creating characters, and writing dialogue, which are all things you can do from that side of the table but aren't necessarily your place. The BDSM term is, I think, "Topping From The Bottom."

The Conflux, Part One

By Tycho – November 23, 2011

Gabriel put his Dungeons & Dragons campaign on hiatus almost a year ago, which happens, and is more often than not a euphemistic device for "never playing again." He wants to fight that common arc tooth and nail, and I've committed my entire mind to his holy task.

A production timeline wiggled, so we've had a couple more days to offer the... well, offer, I guess it would be, but tonight is super duper it for a signed copy. Remember, the packages are:

A new painting

By Gabe – November 21, 2011

In case you can’t tell I’ve been a little bit obsessed with Zelda recently. I’m about 50 hours into Skyward sword and I think I’m pretty near the end. I’ve also been working on the Zelda comic that we announced last week. The second page of that will go up tomorrow by the way. One of the things I did when I first started the Zelda comic was to get a little sketchbook just for the project. So I’ve been doodling and making little water color paintings in it for a couple of months now. One of the sketches I did I actually really liked and when I looked at it I felt like it should be a painting.
