What's Not To Like

By Tycho – October 11, 2010

Gabe really does have a bat! A real bat, just hangin' up in the eaves and devourin' thousands of insects every night. You might be surprised to learn how codified the process is for keeping and encouraging bats, I wasn't aware this is something one did, but I'm overjoyed to live in a world more interesting than I previously thought. There are those who find their impish faces and split noses vile, but that's not my demo. Bats are my favorite mammals by a wide margin, and yes, I'm aware that humans are mammals.

The Apex

Cold Stone is generally a dessert, but it can also be a meal - the one by us will fold forest mushrooms, prosciutto, Black Forest ham, and gravy ice cream into a savory mass. This kind of versatility is what makes it so core to our Identity as a people.

Our Store Is Back!

By Tycho – October 6, 2010

Brian has essentially killed himself getting things going, but it's ready for you now.  A few noteworthy additions, since it's been away:

Dungeons and Dragons

(Trigger Warning for attempts to coerce laughter through foul language, Dungeons, Dice rolling, contempt for Hydra’s bodily autonomy,Dragons,)

Warmachine, Precipice

By Tycho – October 6, 2010

As I mentioned after PAX, it was my great honor to write lyrics and a vocal melody about Warmachine, the thunderous tabletop wargame from Privateer Press. Well, that track is now available to download on the Xbox if you're keen, with a PSN version to follow shortly. Privateer Press is also donating all proceeds from the track to Child's Play, which is compounds the honor I felt in serving them previously. Since they won the song at the Child's Play Charity Dinner and Auction to begin with, donating the earnings off the track is incredibly generous. They've created something like a donation engine, now.

Where My Shows At

By Tycho – October 6, 2010

Am I the only only one who is this way? I don't know. I sort of like foraging for shows. I like to watch television, but I like watching it on my terms, and I'm afraid that if I got cable liquid television would start shooting out of the wall, and then where would we be.

Full Of Twists And Turns

By Tycho – October 4, 2010

New rumblings about a Myst movie were more or less irresistible as strip material. Now, though, as the most deeply Myst obsessed human being affixed to this planet, I must spend the rest of the post walking it back.

Comic Jumper Winner!

By Gabe – October 1, 2010

Thanks to everyone who sent in a photo for my Rob Liefeld pose contest. It turns out even Rob Liefeld entered, but I said no photo-shopping so he was disqualified. I got a lot of great poses but I have chosen one winner. I saw a lot of photos that acuratly mimicked real drawings. I saw a few that nailed the leaping action seen in so much of Rob’s work. But this one picture I feel had it all.

Today's strip isn't terribly far from the conversation we actually had. Dialogue wise.

Comic Jumper

By Gabe – September 29, 2010

Comic Jumper is a new game coming out from the guys at Twisted Pixel. We had a chance to play it before PAX and I really liked the concept of a character who jumps into different comic book genres. Each time he lands in a new comic, the style of the artwork changes and it’s done really well.

Understanding

By Tycho – September 29, 2010

Integrating another human being's unique biology into the office has been a unique proposition. Scott claims that before moving north, nobody's ever even mentioned his talkative ass, but his friend and cohort Kris Straub just left the country for an entire month - presumably to get oxygen.

Ex Precipicio

By Tycho – September 29, 2010

Maybe?  I don't know really know any Latin.  Would that mean I was out of Precipice?  Because that shit ain't true.  In fact, I've just posted another entry.
